Mack and Manco have decided to go separate ways.
While Wildwood has been simply “Mack’s Pizza” since 1953, “Mack & Manco’s” opened up as combined effort of Tony Mack and cousin Vince Manco in Ocean City in 1956. The cause of the split has remained a primarily private affair: “It’s just two separate entities that decided among themselves that one would take back their name and we would all go our separate ways. There’s nothing else to say about it,” says co-owner Chuck Bangle. “We know that when people really start to notice the change, they are going to be worried but they shouldn’t be, because nothing else is changing and our customers have no need to be concerned.”
From this point forward, Mack and Manco’s in Ocean City will be known as “Manco and Manco’s.”
