While many people are caught up in the newest, latest or greatest boardwalk attractions, the Retro Arcade Pinball Palace in a sense takes things the other way—and I mean that in the best way possible. As perhaps the newest arcade (contradictorily full of “old” games!) in the Wildwoods, this new Boardwalk Mall tenant breaks open enough nostalgia and straight up awesomeness to keep kids, adults and arcade enthusiasts busy and smiling for the entire summer.
In addition to the impressive majority of vintage pinball machines, you’ll also find some really interesting “shooting” games, whac-a-mole, games of chance and more. Pricing is innovative, and unlike like a traditional arcade, is based on 10 minute or 1 hour time limits. For a miniscule $10, you gain a full hour of all-you-can-play pinball! A small price to pay? I’d say so!
Next time you’re venturing by the Boardwalk Mall, travel back in time and see if you have what it takes to get the high score!
