Biography

Biography:
Santino's Pizza was a no-frills shop with a variety of menu items including Panzarotti, stromboli, cheesesteaks, and, of course, pizza. Notably, they offered cheese pizza slices for 92 cents. The shop offered a small dining room.

Between 2005 and 2012, Santino's generally rated well on the Wildwood Pizza Tour, winning "Best Overall Slice" in 2009 and "Best Value Slice" five times in that span (2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012).

After the 2015 season, Santino's closed permanently. In 2016, Steve's Grilled Cheese & Quesadilla Co. opened in it's place at 2802 Boardwalk, just south of Poplar Avenue.

What can you complain about for $1.00? It's pretty good pizza for the price. If you are hungry and got a few little ones to feed, this is the place to go. Little ones usually only want "plain" anyway.

You can't beat a $1.. although it's not always a $1, I think it goes up after a certain time and on weekends. It's not the very best pizza, but again, at a $1, awesome.

This place shells out great slices whenever they're open (their hours seem to be sporadic during the day but they're always open by the night). The place is usually a little messy and the workers always seem to be covered in flour. Nonetheless, the pizza is GREAT and it's only $1. I also recommend the panzarotti (mmm) but DO NOT get a chicken cheese steak (worst ever)!
